Another diaper bike! This time the theme is MONKEYS!

Erinn's baby is due in March and so I just couldn't resist making a diaper bike for her new arrival! The gender is unknown, so I used green and brown for this one. I've had this monkey flannel for years and LOVE it! Now I can finally put it to use! Plus I was able to find pacifiers that even had monkeys on them. And the Huggies size 2 diapers? Yep, the accent color on those is green! I love it when a plan comes together! ;)

I have this love for cute little monkeys. And decorating with them is just plain fun. And cute. I have a bulletin board set with monkeys that I have yet to use for a classroom---one of these days I'll need it!

Maybe sometime in the future I'll do a nursery or kid's room with monkeys. See, and then you can use the Scripture verse I did below. And I have this cute set of embroidery designs that has three monkeys. One covers his eyes, saying, "see no evil". Another covers his ears, saying, "hear no evil". And the last one covers his mouth, saying, "speak no evil". Can't you just see that painted on a wall?!?!?!?!?!?!

Ok, back on the subject at hand.....the diaper bike. The monkey theme. It's cute. Just plain cute. And Erinn, Tim and Noah will love it!

A brilliant idea - a diaper bike!

For the last couple of months, I've had several ideas running through my head as what to make for Krissa's baby, Landon, when he arrives later this month. I searched magazines, bookmarked sewing sites and googled several things before I found a pinterest pin that totally fit the bill!

a diaper bike! You've seen the traditional diaper cakes, which I was planning on doing something similar to that, but when I found the bike.....awwwwww......it's perfect! Krissa painted the nursery in blue and brown, so I planned around those colors and found some cute items to complete the theme!

And it turned out soooooo adorably cute! In fact, it was so cute, I didn't want to mail it to Kentucky! I'd just be content with it sitting on my guest room dresser. :)
