Empty shelves
There's just something to be said about empty shelves. It's SO nice! I've spent the last week going through a lot of my business supplies and class material. I have totes of fabric, project samples, teaching material and just odds and ins that haven't been touched in several years. And since my Floral Elegance class is finished, I decided some spring cleaning and organizing was in order. Plus I was needing more shelf space for my Bible teaching material.
Was I ever able to go through stuff and purge? Definitely! In sorting through totes, I discovered that I had about 6 years worth of class projects and samples that I've taught. That takes up a lot of room! I kept those things that I *might* teach in the future and got rid of the rest. I had several trash bags to throw away in addition to an entire pile of stuff to give away and another huge pile to sell on ebay and craigslist. For now, that pile is in my living room waiting to be photographed and listed, but it sure makes my downstairs shelves look so wonderful and inviting.
Now, how do I fill those empty shelves? ;)
