How to remove sharpie marker? Pinterest to the rescue!

I have this ongoing love/hate relationship with pinterest. I will admit that I fell in LOVE with that website the very first time I joined. The ideas are endless. And if I'm not careful, the time I spend on there is endless as well.

But for this project, it was a lifesaver. I had used a sharpie marker on several Cubbies books that needed to come off. Searched pinterest and their suggestion was rubbing alcohol.

Worked like a charm. Hardly had to rub at all for that black ink to disappear. It took off a teeny bit of the blue in the background, but hardly noticeable and for this, not an issue.
